Flamingo Gardens

This family-friendly botanical garden and wildlife sanctuary is located about a 1/2 hour from your Pompano Beach apartment and has a number of great exhibits and a tram tour.
Step in to the tropics at the 15 acre Tropical Garden with over 2,000 tropical and sub-tropical plants and trees. Or take a walk on the wild side at the Everglades Wildlife Sanctuary where you can see over 85 native species including alligators, bobcats, panthers, otters, eagles, peacocks and of course, flamingos.
Discover Florida’s history by touring the historic Wray Home Museum draped in orchids. You can also take a narrated tram ride through the 46 acres, just make sure to check their website for seasonal hours. Flamingo Gardens also has live presentations featuring Florida’s native wildlife daily.

About 45 minutes from your luxury apartment in Pompano Beach you will find Mounts Botanical Garden. It is the one of the oldest and largest botanical gardens in Florida. Visit and leisurely explore the beautiful, fragrant and colorful begonia garden or the butterfly garden. Kids can get lost in the children’s maze and you can relax in the garden of well-being.
