 On Saturday, February 27, 2016, the Pompano Beach Historical Society will host the Green Market from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.  Located at NE 1st Street and NE 1st Avenue.  You can purchase fresh fruits and vegetables, baked goods, juices, plants, and arts and crafts at the market.

 The City of Pompano is hosting Kids Night Out on Friday, February 26, 2016 at the Emma Lou Olson Civic Center located at 1801 NE 6th Street in Pompano.  Parents can enjoy a kid free night out on the town.  Children ages 5 – 12 will enjoy games, arts and crafts, pizza, and making new friends.  The cost is $10.00 and your child will be under the care of Pompano’s recreation professionals.  For more information click here.

 Why not take in the 26th annual Riverwalk Blues and Music Festival in nearby Fort Lauderdale from February 26 through February 28, 2016.  Tickets for the event cost $15.00 for Friday’s performances, which run from 5 to 10 p.m., and $25.00 for Saturday’s show, which runs from 11 a.m. to midnight, both will be held at Esplanade Park which is located at 400 SW Second St. in Fort Lauderdale. EST on ABC, followed by the Ceremony at 5:30 P.M.
