 On Saturday, February 27, 2016, the Pompano Beach Historical Society will host the Green Market from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.  Located at NE 1st Street and NE 1^st Avenue.  You can purchase fresh fruits and vegetables, baked goods, juices, plants, and arts and crafts at the market.

 The City of Pompano is hosting Kids Night Out on Friday, February 26, 2016 at the Emma Lou Olson Civic Center located at 1801 NE 6^th Street in Pompano.  Parents can enjoy a kid free night out on the town.  Children ages 5 – 12 will enjoy games, arts and crafts, pizza, and making new friends.  The cost is $10.00 and your child will be under the care of Pompano’s recreation professionals.  For more information click here.

 Why not take in the 26th annual Riverwalk Blues and Music Festival in nearby Fort Lauderdale from February 26 through February 28, 2016.  Tickets for the event cost $15.00 for Friday’s performances, which run from 5 to 10 p.m., and $25.00 for Saturday’s show, which runs from 11 a.m. to midnight, both will be held at Esplanade Park which is located at 400 SW Second St. in Fort Lauderdale. Don’t forget that the 88^th annual Academy Awards Ceremony is this Sunday, February, 28, 2016.  Chris Rock will be hosting what should be an exciting evening of star-studded performances, speeches, and fashion.  You can catch the stars arrival on the Red Carpet at 7:00 P.M. EST on ABC, followed by the Ceremony at 5:30 P.M.

They have wonderful Thai, Terriaki, sushi and sashimi, but their rolls are what have people coming back, try the Phat Boy Roll, Rainbow Roll, Red Face Roll, large hand rolls so large they are served in a double decker stand.  Guests also love the Fried Rice and Lobster Tempura.
