Summer is here, and it is time to find fun events to celebrate with your family and friends. Pompano Beach has plenty of fun activities suitable for the entire family. There will be lots of food, drinks, and music in these events.

The Free Tree Giveaway

On July 22nd, the City of Pompano Beach nursery will be giving away trees from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. The nursery will issue native tree seedlings to the people living in the community. Every household will get two seedlings, and you will be required to prove your Pompano Beach residency. Let this event be the perfect opportunity to teach the young ones about the value of the environment and why we need to take care of it.

Watercolor Workshop

This event will take place on July 22, 2017, at the Bailey Contemporary Arts where artist Kimberley Maxwell will give lessons. Attendees will do watercolor painting in addition to being instructed on creating a painting by the end of the event. People of all ages are welcome, but early booking is encouraged due to limited space.
